NO PURCHASE/MEMBERSHIP NECESSARY TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES

1. HERE'S HOW IT WORKS: Beginning 2/18/08, existing INDY DownForce members or new online/mailed members (see Rule #2A and B below) can earn points through various activities (e.g., watching IndyCar® Series broadcasts, answering survey questions, referring friends to join, etc.) and redeem them for IndyCar Series products (e.g. merchandise, tickets to select races, etc.) You will automatically receive 500 points if you become a new INDY DownForce member 2/18/08 - 10/31/08. Additionally, as an INDY DownForce club member, with each 200 points you collect within a phase period (as described in Rule #5), you will automatically earn 1 entry into the sweepstakes for that particular phase. See the chart in Rule #5 for entry periods for each phase. Limit one INDY DownForce club membership per person.

2. HERE'S HOW TO BECOME AN INDY DOWNFORCE MEMBER

(a)Online membership:Beginning 10am ET on 2/18/08 through 11:59pm ET on 10/31/08, visit www.indycar.com , click on Fan Club link and follow online instructions to become an INDY DownForce club member, and see information on how to collect and redeem points online.

(b)Mail-in membership: As an alternative to online membership, you can become an INDY DownForce member by mail, and collect and redeem points via the mail. To become a mail-in member, hand-print your complete name, gender, mailing address (no PO Boxes), city, state, zip, date of birth (mm/dd/yyyy), (optional) day/evening phone numbers and email address, and if you were referred by an INDY DownForce member, indicate that member's official INDY DownForce membership number, on a 3" x 5" paper and mail in #10 envelope to: Indy Racing League, Attn: INDY DownForce Mail-in Membership, 4565 West 16th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46222. Mail in members will receive a membership kit on/about 10 days of date when membership request was received containing information on how to collect and redeem points via the mail.

3. BONUS REFERRAL POINTS: As an INDY DownForce club member, you can collect 1,000 points for each different friend you refer that becomes a new club member. (Be sure to provide each friend with your Official INDY DownForce membership number - only if they identify you by your membership number will you get points when they join.) Any friend that you refer must be 13 years of age or older. Limit 10 referrals per club member per calendar year. Note: If friend is already an INDY DownForce club member, you will not receive bonus referral points.

4. HOW TO GET SWEEPSTAKES ENTRIES:

(a)With each 200 points you collect within a phase period, you will automatically earn 1 entry into the sweepstakes for that particular phase. You will automatically receive 500 points if you become an INDY DownForce member 2/18/08 through 10/31/08.

(b)If you do not want to become a member or participate in activities, you can enter the sweepstakes by Official Entry Form only. To request an Official Entry Form, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: INDY DownForce Entry Form Requests, P. O. Box 5534, Blair, NE 68009 - 5534. You may request as many Official Entry Forms as you wish, but there is a limit 1 request per outer mailing envelope. Once you receive an Official Entry Form, hand print your complete name, mailing address (no P. O. Boxes), city, state, zip, date of birth (mm/dd/yyyy) and optional day/evening telephone numbers and mail it via 1st class mail to the address indicated on the entry form. You may enter as often as you wish, but there is a limit 1 Official Entry Form per outer mailing envelope. Mailed entries must be received by 11/21/08 to be entered in the final random drawing. You will receive 3 entries into the sweepstakes for each eligible Official Entry Form received.

5. RANDOM DRAWINGS:One winner will be selected for each of the 4 phase periods indicated in the following chart from among all eligible online and mailed entries received within each phase period by D. L. Blair, Inc., an independent judging organization whose decisions are final on all matters relating to the sweepstakes. Entry(ies) into one drawing does not constitute entry into subsequent drawings. Winners will be notified by mail. Limit one prize per person or household. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received within each phase period.

6. PRIZES & APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES: Prizes consist of only those items specifically listed as part of the prize.

• One (1) "Behind the Finale Scene" Package (Phase I):  A 2-day/1-night trip for four to Chicagoland Speedway for the 2008 finale on 9/7/08. Prize includes round-trip coach air transportation for 4 from major airport nearest winner's home (departing 9/7/08, returning 9/8/08), hotel accommodations (2 rooms, double occupancy), grandstand seats to the race, a tour of the timing and scoring booth, access to the IndyCar Series hospitality area and more. Actual value of trip will depend on winner's point of departure. (ARV: $3,680).
  
  
• One (1) "Ride and Drive an IndyCar" Package (Phase II):  A 2-day-1-night trip for two to Indianapolis, IN to learn how to drive a one-seater IndyCar Series car and take a ride in a specially-designed two-seater IndyCar Series car. Prize includes round-trip coach air transportation for 2 from major airport nearest winner's home, hotel accommodations (one room) and the opportunity for winner to learn how to drive an IndyCar Series car. Travel must be completed during the Spring of 2009 and is subject to availability. Additionally, winner will receive a driver's helmet autographed by all 33 drivers in the 2008 Indianapolis 500 Mile Race. Actual value of trip will depend on winner's point of departure. Winner must be 18 or older at time of travel, possess a valid U.S. driver's license, meet the physical restrictions (winner must be no taller than 6'5 and weigh no more than 250 lbs.) and sign required forms for the ride and drive portions of the prize. Photo identification approved by the program's administrator may be required. If winner/guest does not meet restrictions/sign required forms, the IndyCar Series ride and drive portions of the prize will be forfeited and winner will relinquish all rights to those portions of the prize. • One (1) "Watch in HD Style" Package (Phase III):   A 50" HDTV and home theatre entertainment system with HD DVD player. Sponsor to specify actual make and model of TV/home theatre system. (ARV: $4,000).
  
  
• One (1) "IndyCar VIP Event" Package (Phase IV): A 3-day/2-night trip for 2 to an IndyCar® Series race of winner's choice (excluding the Indy 500® Mile Race) within the 50 United States during the 2009 racing season. Prize includes round-trip coach air transportation for 2 from major airport nearest winner's home to destination city, hotel accommodations (one room), tickets to the selected race, hospitality passes, and a ride in a pace car. Winner and guest must be at least 18 years old and sign required forms to participate in the pace car ride. Photo identification approved by the program's administrator may be required. If winner/guest does not meet restrictions/sign required forms, hospitality passes and the ride in the pace car portions of the prize will be forfeited and winner will relinquish all rights to those portions of the prize. Additionally, winner and guest will meet with a sponsor-specified driver. There is no monetary value associated with pace car ride and meeting the driver. Actual value of trip will depend on winner's point of departure and destination city. (ARV: $4,200).

7. GENERAL RULES: Open only to residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 13 years of age or older as of the date they signed up to become an INDY DownForce club member or at time of entry. Employees of Indy Racing League, LLC and any of their respective affiliates or subsidiaries, or advertising and promotion agencies or suppliers involved in this promotion and the immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law. No substitution of prize by winner permitted. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of winner. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. All materials submitted become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Potential winners (and parent/legal guardian if potential winner is deemed a minor in his/her state of residence) must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release Form within 7 days of notification. Noncompliance within this time period may result in disqualification and an alternate may be selected. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate will be selected. All travelers (and parent/legal guardian if traveler is a minor) must execute a Release of Liability/Publicity Release Form prior to ticketing and must possess required travel documents (e.g. valid photo I.D., etc.) prior to departure. If a minor wins a prize, prize will be awarded in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian who must accompany minor to event as winner's traveling companion (where applicable). If a minor is selected as a traveling companion, winner must be his/her parent/legal guardian. Travel is subject to availability and certain blackout dates may apply. All travelers must agree to travel on dates specified by Sponsor, where applicable; dates of departure and return are subject to change. Prizes are not transferable except where specified. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to the Sponsor and its agencies to use winner's name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. By accepting prize, winner (and winner's parent/legal guardian if winner is a minor) agrees to hold Sponsor, its respective directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use of prize. Winner (and winner's parent/legal guardian if winner is a minor) assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize. By participating in this promotion, entrants (and entrant's parent/legal guardian if entrant is a minor), agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any promotional materials and the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control. Sponsor reserves the right to freeze or close an account or to prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected, or if the individual fails to comply with any requirement of participation as stated herein or with any provision in these official rules. Any attempt to circumvent any limits set forth in these Official Rules may result in disqualification. INTERNET CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR(S) RESERVE(S) THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Not responsible for late, lost, damaged, incomplete, illegible, postage due, misdirected mail, administrative, printing or production errors, faulty, incorrect or mistranscribed phone/e-mail transmissions, incorrect announcements of any kind, technical hardware or software failures of any kind including any injury or damage to any person's computer related to or resulting from participating in or experiencing any materials in connection with the promotion, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission that may limit a user's ability to participate in the promotion, any error in the processing of registrations, points earned or entry(ies) into any drawing(s). Proof of submitting is not proof of receiving. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for undeliverable e-mails resulting from any form of active or passive e-mail filtering by a user's Internet service provider and/or e-mail client or for insufficient space in user's e-mail account to receive e-mail. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the sweepstakes or INDY DownForce club membership program if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy the integrity of the program; or if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper administration of the program as determined by Sponsor/judging agency/administrator, in their sole discretion. In the event of termination of the sweepstakes, a notice will be posted online and the drawing to award remaining prize(s) will be conducted from among all eligible entries received prior to termination. In the event a dispute arises regarding specific individual entitled to receive prize, entry made by Internet will be declared made by the "authorized e-mail account holder" and any damage made to the Web Site will also be the responsibility of the authorized e-mail account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized e-mail account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Participant may be requested to provide Sponsor with proof that the participant is the authorized e-mail account holder of the e-mail address associated with the account/submission. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or the like methods of participation will void all such submissions by such methods. Sponsor not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing, the offering or the announcement of any prize or in the administration of the promotion.

8. For names of winners, visit www.Indycar.com, click "Fan Club" then click "Winners". Winners names will be posted approximately 3 weeks after the date of the random drawing for each phase. Or, send a separate, stamped, self-addressed #10 envelope to: INDY DownForce Winners, P. O. Box 5545, Blair, NE 68009-5545, to be received by 10/31/08.
